RTO Building

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) Baramati (MH-42) is a key government facility responsible for managing and regulating vehicle-related activities in the Baramati region. This modern RTO office was constructed by Rainbow Housing, a reputed Pune-based real estate developer known for contributing to both residential and public infrastructure projects. The establishment of this RTO has significantly improved the efficiency and accessibility of transport-related services for the local community.

Located at Vidhya Corner, MIDC Circle, Bhigwan Road, Baramati, Pune – 413133, the Baramati RTO serves as a central hub for vehicle registration, issuance and renewal of driving licenses, vehicle fitness certification, transfer of ownership, road tax collection, and more. It plays a vital role in ensuring road safety and regulatory compliance under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The office operates from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM, and also offers pollution under control (PUC) certification services.

The RTO Baramati covers a wide jurisdiction that includes Baramati and nearby talukas, overseeing over 150 local areas and several postal districts. The infrastructure built by Rainbow Housing has introduced modern amenities and improved public service delivery, aligning with the government’s ongoing efforts to upgrade civic facilities in the region.

The new RTO building stands as an example of how public-private collaborations can successfully enhance local infrastructure. Along with other recent developments in Baramati, such as the modernized bus stand, the RTO represents a step toward better-managed urban services and improved quality of life for the residents. The timely construction and thoughtful design by Rainbow Housing have made this facility a valuable asset for the Baramati community.
